| Participants: Team: Robin, Roland mit Jacqueline, Arne, Manu, Peter, Tibor, Tim mit Katharina, Tobi mit Jodith
Friends: Markus Osswald, Carsten Richardt, Tobi Ziegler, Nicola Joa, Albert Allmang, Fred Petzinger
Because since the last meeting of the team again some time
had passed, met the Cavebase of 7 - 9 November, on Lake
Starnberg. At the meeting we had some interested parties are
invited to get to know and to be able to go scuba diving
together. |

We were lucky and the conditions were great! Between 15 and 30m visibility.

The pool at the Gourneyras

It lacked some 5m to the normal water level.
But the vision had to be good in the sight!

Robin will check for the Arne TG dressed ;-)

Robin at the sink

Marc is delighted as secure as a king over
the snow Perfect vision

Robin comes back out, you can see it already
quite small. On the site it has about 9m!

Whether Marc here is the coldness of the
water suggests, hihihihihi ....

Around the pool is not really a flat place
to find :-( Although you can view even at
30m in some places does not illuminate the cave, but it gave entirely.
After the check dive we had on the road,
or on the dirt unloaded our cars.
Unbelievable that so much equipment in a car
:-)
Overall, 1 had Habitat, 2 double frames RB, 7 mono RB frames, 5 D12/D18, 14
scooters, 70 Stages, 2x 84AH Heiztanks, 2x 44AH Heiztanks, 5x 18ah Heiztanks and
just a lot of "attachments" such as vending machines, etc. . there.

Go down to the point we build on the cable
car

All required equipment was unloaded from the
cars. In front you can see a few of the
mono-frame RB, behind a Heiztank, habitat,
etc., etc.

A few scooters and transport tonne

2-3 stages and Roland's D12
After unloading, we directed our first
Quatier On. Part slept in the buses, some
built their tents.

At the camp arrived first made Tobi firewood
:-)

The next morning, here it freezes well .... somebody
The construction of the ropeway and the
abseil went relatively smoothly. However, we
had a rope to a slightly thick rope - that
continually scrubs the rope brake. The
somewhat annoying, but it went anyway.
Whether the long-on was so good, it would
still show :-(

When you fix the carrying rope (cable), you
can still see the back Roland to the wire,
the steel cable

The rope was "Installed"

The habitat had to be the first and was
saddled with abgeseilt

Since we had forgotten the harness, Marc has
his Backplate rebuilt. Below you can see a
lot more equipment

At the midday break filled our Rebreather,
Arne here and Roland

In the afternoon it looked quite knew from
the source pool

Towards evening, the habitat is still in the
cave Installs. Due to the low water level,
we could only 8.3 m rather than put 9m
The next day, only had very little
stuff with the cable car down. So that the first team, Marc and Arne, equal in
their TG could make. The two had the task to about 1.000m to dive and the rope
until then to fix and repararieren. Up to the point the line was extremely
violent situation. Marc and Arne were approximately 6h in water at its TG.

Fortunately it had not rained and the
equipment we have in the pool "to miss" had
was still there

TG Review
Robin & Roland
TG Total Duration: 820 minutes
Maximum depth: 98.8 m
During the session Roland and I directed
our double-RB Riggs retired to the tables in
the pool and introduced the mandatory checks
standardized RB and reviewed again by all
the other equipment components.
In order to save space, we had lecture on
all stages with the machines; and sorted
into "packages" in the cave pool placed here
so that we also check with the Bubble
finished and the machines would possibly be
able to exchange. The total of 14 scooters
in the pool were also "parked".
After the double-configured and tested
sets were led Roland and I have a short
setup OC Trimix dives with a 21/35 for the
following day. A Dekogas for this short
Bouncedive we have renounced.
Tim and Marc had us on the eve already 2
x 80 cf Stages with the 50/25 to 21 m in the
cave deposits, so that we are now depending
the diver with the deep Dekogas Trimix 25/45
(80 cf / 7 L), 3 x 80 cf Trimixstages (1 x
15/60, 2 x 12/75), 3 x Magnum Scooter and
JE1 x AH Heizröhre with 84 placed in the
cave.
First we hung each 2 x 80 cf Stages and
O2 with an 80 cf stage with a Trimix
Breakgas than 17/55 and a small Heizröhre
with 18 Ah and a weight belt on from
Habitat. Then we placed 6 Magnum Scooter at
36 m on a leash and they checked out again.
Here we noticed that in one of Roland's
Scooter of the pitch was a little
overexcited and do not move left, the
question we took Scooter with up and
directed it with a few handles.
The large Heizröhre with the 84 Ah and
the deep Dekogas with the 25/45, we placed
approximately 150 m into the cave to nearly
51 m depth. Due to the very low water level
(it is missing about 5-6 meters!) Would have
at this point really have to be 54 m. So we
decided that we have the next day the Trimix
25/45 on the way forward into the cave again,
and upon reaching the 54 m mark to be off
again.
Then we slowly emerged and took on the
way up towards the water surface is no
longer required by Arne Equipment, Marc, and
Peter Manu and Tim in the form of some
scooters, Trimixstages, Dekogasen with in
the pool because they are in the meantime
the deco of their dives were. (see other
reports)
Then, we support the girls and boys when
disembarking from the water and then store
the equipment.
Towards evening were a few packages
scooters, batteries, lamps and other
minutiae of the top cable car transported
and loaded.
Then there was a more extensive course
and barbecue at the campfire, under the
leadership of Arne. He leaves no other on
the grill and enjoyed each time to "perceived"
5 m high stitch flames, he with the barbecue
lighter "magic". During lunch we discussed
the process and the timing of tomorrow's day
and the dive by Roland & Robin and
distributed the tasks.
Then it went to 22:00 time in bed to the
next morning to get up at 7:00 (No, we are
now really no early birds, and occasionally
like to dive in to the night)
The next morning we completed our first
store on carbohydrate, Roland preferred a
strong noodle soup, Robin amused with pasta
and tomato sauce. It costs but also each
time a certain overcome at this time to eat
pasta.
Towards 8:30, we were then at the cave
and were pooled by Manu and Arne and Marc
when creating the pool Doppelrebreather
supported.

Arne and Marc Roland at helping create the
double Rebreathers

Here you can see the Manu Robin helps
Previously we checked out a few words
Heizhemden regarding the functionality, the pluggten Stages with Trimix 35/35 in
the switch block of the sets and breathed the Scrubber few minutes. Robin used
to dive next to the Bailouttanks fixed with straps 14 cf tank argon an
additional 14 cf Argon days, with a Boltsnap to the left chest D-ring was
angeklippt. In the known cave is a profile Out of argon is not an option.

Both finished just yet Stages and create los
gehts

Why do both from the same :-)
We adopted us from the team and finally
appeared in a huge cave from.

Endlich gehts los
The viewing conditions were excellent at
approximately 20-25 meters, sometimes 30
meters visibility. We briefly checked out
again the habitat and the ensuing stages and
fixed at 21 m deposited with the stages
50/25. At 36 m droppten we Stages with the
35/35 and switched to the "Shallow"
Trimixstage with the 15/60, which we to a
depth of 75 m for the first km to use, as
each took for 2 with a Trimixstages 110 m in
the form of a gas Trimix 12/75 and 3 each in
Magnum Scooter. So from now on, we were each
with 3 Trimixstages and 3 scooters on the
road. Then made a quick check of the
Backuprebreathers and it was already
happening. We pushed on the trigger and
followed the course profile madness. After a
very short time we reached our day in
advance deposited 84 Ah Heizröhren and
stages with the Trimix 25/45 which we as
deep Dekogas from 54 m depth wanted to use.
We decided to Heiztanks there to 51 m
respectively, and took only the stages on.
After a few minutes we finally reached the
54 m mark, and put at a suitable location,
and the stages at the diving board argon
days.
It was hardly possible to all parts of
the cave auszuleuchten we followed the
course profile and scooterten side by side
and really enjoyed this beautiful cave.
After not even 30 minutes on the trigger, we
finally reached the area of the cave, where
70-75 m from the field to a depth of
approximately 100 m drops. The ground was
only dimly visible, the ceiling is not
visible.
We deposited here each stage with the 75
m and a gas scooter Magnum on a leash, and
switched on the first of the two
accompanying Trimixstages with Trimix 12/75
and scooterten down the giant shaft and
reached a maximum depth from 98.8 m.
Until her here was the line situation is
chaotic, but by the work of Marc and Arne no
problem the right way. After a short time
should be different. It was torn and the
line hung loose in the course profile,
without a leash continue to recognize was
that we connected on a leash reel end and
one of us was looking for the continuation
of the course profile, after the
continuation or the other end of rope were
found, we connected the line to the existing
line. The course profile rose quickly to
about 80 m and from here it only existed
only by Micha and Reinhard moved leash, but
unfortunately steadily over greater
distances, sometimes interrupted, so that we
on the one hand, laboriously found lines
connected or if the continuation of the line
was not clear again the reel and connected
to the cave scooterten.
The leash of Micha and Reinhard was with
distance markers (yellow tape), so that you
had a good overview.
One of us scooterte alternately advance
and lights off and explored the further
continuation of the course profile, the
other anxious and put leash tie-offs and
placements.
Finally, the cave fell again to about 90
m and again we found the line of Micha and
Reinhard and our line connected to this.
We scooterten rapidly the course profile
and below the line and reached a shaft on
the rapidly to a depth of about 70 m lead.
After a few minutes on the trigger was the
line again without a broken line was
continued to recognize. We konnektieren the
reel again and let us once again of the
scooters in a shaft at about 93 m, and
followed the tunnel and moved leash. After a
few minutes on the trigger, we found again
the old-liners continue and this combined
with our line. The permanent fix, and
neuverlegen knot of leash and seek further
course of the cost curve corresponding
period. Since we have for the decompression
from a saturation profile box, it was us the
depth and time regardless of reason, since
the decompression is increasing basic time
and regardless of the depth is no longer
significantly changing.
These up and downs of the cave led course
in which we use counter-lung ratio of 1:10
to a correspondingly higher gas consumption.
The profile of the cave gradually
increased initially to about 85 m, then to
75 m, and then relatively rapidly to 45 m
upward. The fact that we breached the
Dekoceiling are not bothered us because we
are on the way back here again and would
re-emerging bubbles in solution would force
or shrink again. The cave was a bit further
on and we reached a depth of 52 m.
Here was once the line is cracked and the
cave looked as this would increase further,
since Robin still about 50 bar in the first
Trimixstage and we had this limit as one of
the reversal criteria defined, we finished
the dive in the deep part minutes at 170th
It would have been at the further
increase and thus the return of the waste
re-depth profile in the consequence
definitely means alternatively to the
second-Trimixstage for the return trip was
planned to go back or even the package with
the D20 back to bite. Because the gas in the
back as a package Safetygas used to inflate
and out of the Wings will not be touched,
this was not an option for us dar. knowing
that we at the end of the leash Micha and
Reinhard at our first dive was within reach,
it was then just good for today.
We have attached a cookie on a leash and
scooterten - the now continuous line below -
comfortably out of the cave and looked after
us side passages and other ways to further
gear to continue. Some significant figures,
we will soon start again and this detail. We
both believe that it goes further!
It's been madness, even at about 20
meters of visibility in the deep part of the
cave in its dimension ausleuchtbar almost
complete and it is the other wall section
can hardly recognize what the other sequels
are looking for is not just easy.
On the way back was now significantly
faster and at 220 in minutes, we reached the
TG Stages deposited with the 75m gas and the
two magnum scooter. We switched to the stage
with the Trimix 15/60 and stored on each of
the scooter and other scooters loaded again.
Scooter The third was during the entire dive
is not in use and served only as a backup
scooter.
Following some Deepstops followed and we
finally scooterten from the cave. At 290
minutes, we reached our Stage stored at 54 m
with the deep Dekogas (Trimix 25/45) and
switched to these. The reason was not that
long and was a total of 270 min
At 51 m, we switched on our Heizröhren
them.
We extracted ourselves up and on the 48 m
Arne came forward and Tim already receive
from above. A short okay and the two were
already there and rid us of the equipment no
longer needed in the form of the 6 Scooter,
4 Trimixstages and Reels. We kept one
Trimixstage for deeper Gasbreaks, which we
implemented on the Rebreather extracted with
us and we continue upwards.
Robin & Tim Arne wrote the planned
Dekoprocedere in the Wetnotes and ripped the
page out and gave it with the two. Thus, all
parties had the exact plan and knew exactly
when we arrive at what Dekostufe and when we
want in the habitat.
From 39 m, we began with Gasbreaks with
Trimix 15/60 to the lungs for subsequent
Dekopression life. The Gasbreaks were
regarded as full Dekozeit and did not lead
to the extension of the decompression.
In between, we have repeatedly made the
stored potable drinking pouches, and while
we nachhydriert longingly at the habitat
were pleased.
In between came Arne and Tim always
times again and took the meantime no longer
needed with Dekogasstages upwards and
checked with us if everything was OK.
Approximately 20 minutes before the end
of the 12m Dekostufe met the Habitat crew,
and prepared everything before.
At 600 minutes, we were then included in
the habitat to 8.5 m and enter the result on
the Habitat stored on Trimix 17/55 a 15 min
continuous Gasbreak through.
Roland has served as the first and
climbed into the habitat after him from the
Doppelrebreather helped, and the weight belt
was created. Robin came next turn. Honestly
be said that we should practice again ;-)
As we both sat in the habitat, we ended
the first Gasbreak and moved to the O2.
Gasbreaks were now in the habitat in the
ratio 12:8 (O2: Breakgas), in between, there
was pasta with tuna and tuna like creative
with tomato sauce and plenty to drink.
The 6 m Dekostufe was fully completed at
9 m and 9 m stop completely from the
calculated Dekoprofil deleted. We stayed in
the Habitat 180 min and had plenty of time
to chat.
For the decoration, we would surely ran
Aggressive can go, but by the seclusion of
the cave (there is also no mobile phone), we
had to "Hasenfußvariante decided :-)
The habitat was unfortunately due to the
low water level and the absence of a
suitable location for placement on the
ceiling at 8.3 m only what we do not bother.
Before leaving the habitat, we have a 15
minute Gasbreak on Trimix and left one after
the other with the help of Marc, Arne and
Manu dived and the habitat at dive minutes
at 820 in the pool.

TG Review
Tim, Manu, Peter
TG Total Duration: 210 minutes
Max Depth: 68m
Gases: Manu and Peter: BG 18/45, 50/25 DG
and O2, Tim BG 15/55, DG 35/35, 50/25 and
O2, all with PSC-rebreathers and scooters
equipped.
Since Tim's buddy was out, he came with
us. Our understanding of our target (scooters
until shaft) and agreed with us because of
the gases and from Dekostrategie.
Briefing
After extensive briefing (reversal
criteria Dekostrategie, team orders, TG
expiration) fell into the water there and we
made our Predivechecks on water, emerged
from the UW checks completed and submitted
to the O2 on 6m, the first Dekogas to 21m
and Tim his third gas at 36m from.

The pool with decorative Equipment
The dive
The finger on the trigger it went into
pure darkness. The profile of the cave is
impressive: In the beginning, ceiling and
floor are still in parallel at a distance of
about 10m, until the ceiling in the
horizontal transfer and the cross section
grows. The view was really good, but often
enough because of the sometimes overwhelming
dimensions from all the walls and ceiling of
the leash out to see. Behind the first rise,
we were already HID points meet, which had
to be Marc and Arne. Both teams fell short
of the trigger and enjoyed the visual
spectacle, as the contour of the dome
against the oncoming of the HIDS team
emerged. A short exchange of OK with laser
swords and then went for us. Since the line
situation in this part of the cave to say
something is chaotic (part three more or
less parallel lines, scraps of rope hanging
from the ceiling, T's in the peak angle of
the ceiling on the deeper lines come), was
there a useful strategy to find how could we
ensure that we are using a leash to the back
would Rausweg: We opted for the white cable,
since it is colored by the different lines
and never seemed torn. After about 30
minutes leisurely Scooterns we came to the
shaft, which went down to 60m, just to see
us and go back home, because the planned
ground time was over.
Again at the entrance, we see about us
first and Arne Marc decoration in green on
the blue backlight of the entrance portal
and about Roland and Robin at the setup for
your dive. A great feeling, the whole team
together while diving to see!
Deko
After we came Deepstops at 27m to Marc
and Arne, but because we base our shorter
time and lower depth were soon among us. The
decoration was relatively uneventful, except
for the fact that Peters Rebi sporadic
anfingt the bubble, so he opened the Deko
absaß to no risk: The mouthpiece was
indented, and so blithely ran at the end of
water in the Loop. But it is safe, and since
the reason for the noise is not properly UW
could be clarified, it was the safe decision.
 Manu beim Rödeln
After the dive
After a slow exchange we drove a bit in
the pool, relaxing and talking about the
dive and our impressions of the device
before we still have water stored on land
and even made a little break.
The cave is a result of your
overwhelming dimensions, but there are
also many fine details to discover. The
shaft, which marked our reversal point,
is breathtaking. The walls above the bay
are some washed out, so they just invite
once in a circle around to zap.
Toll is to see how well we as a team
together klarkamen: We were together only
once previously dipped, but there were no
ambiguities or coordination problems, as we
in the entire team Cavebase strict common
standards what equipment and practices have
on the DIR - principles. Thus, the friction
loss negligible.
