Pressure Chamber Centers Rhine-Main-Taunus

Last weekend (2.2.2013) the Pressure Chamber Center Wiesbaden celebrated its 15th anniversary. To celebrate this occasion in a fitting manner, the center organized a series of lectures around the topic of hyperbaric medicine. The list of topics covered topics such as: Latest HBO guidelines, new technical achievements, treatment of wounds and of course the topic of diving.

Cavebase, in this case represented by Tibor Czuppon and myself also got a time slot of 45min. Our topic was "Technical diving at the limit". Tibor explained the projects before my membership and explained to the audience which logistic effort is connected with explorations - to that he explained very vividly how Cavebase plans the different emergency situations and prepares in the best possible way for accidents of all kinds. I took over the part "Report from Serbia".

We tried to present our projects and cave diving as vividly as possible. The audience, consisting of doctors, professors, representatives from the offshore sector, fire department, GTÜM, representatives of diving associations and generally interested people followed our explanations very eagerly. Small film sequences of the habitat and beautiful photos from the different cave systems rounded off the positive picture on the subject of "cave diving".

In this sense,
